Inspired by the true legal work in Hong Kong, the prosecutor follows the story of a man who falsely found himself guilty to drug trafficking after being framed. Despite the confession, a veteran police officer facing a police officer (Donnie Yen), who is convinced in this case, is convinced of the human innocence and conducts his own investigation, risking his career and life to bring the right perpetrator before the court.
